La Tonnarella Restaurant is an oasis of peace set on a spur of rock in one of the most panoramic settings of Sorrento. La Tonnarella started out as a residential summer villa belonging to the Gargiulo family and has been transformed into a delightful hotel with a backdrop of blue sea still keeping its fascinating atmosphere with antique furnishing and ceramic tiles. The hotel has a small private beach with facilities where it is also possible to have lunch. It is possible to dine immersed in the nature and only a few steps from the sea.
Cuisine
The Restaurant has got one big dining-room and a wide terrace on the sea that you can use to relish the refined and typical sirene land’s dish as: Scialatielli with Lobsters, Risotto with lobster’s and finocchietti, Orata with Sorrento’s citrus fruits, shrimps in lemon leaf, calamari au gratin, lemon cake. The taste of the sea and the citruses mixed to the scent of the flowers that color rooms, the terraces and the garden. . Fish and also meat specialties. Vegetarian dishes available too.

The violet and yellow of the wild flowers offering a contrast to the blue of the sky and the sea. It is also possible to lunch at this beautiful place immersed in nature and only a few paces from the sea.

Sorrento is a small city built on cliffs over the sea and surrounded by lemon gardens. Here you can have your wedding in a 14th century cloister or in an historic palace. The Cloister offers a magical setting with its flowers, its plants, its graceful arches and the feeling of peace and quiet. Very intimate and exclusive and has an excellent acoustic. The other venue is the courtyard of a beautiful decorated 17th century palace.
