The historical centre becomes an “Open-air museum” with guided tours, artistic and entertaining performances in Naples. The theme of this year is Ritorno al Barocco e… non solo, dedicated in particular to Spain, to the passage of Spanish people in Naples and to the encounter of both cultures. The fourth weekend is dedicated to Baroque cinema and to those directors with a remarkable tendency to excess. Main protagonists of the weekend are Pedro Almodovar and Pappi Corsicato, a comparison of their similarities and differences, masters in constructing their own poetics and transmitting it to the spectators. Plus, as every year, two ad hoc itineraries to discover the treasures of the Parthenopean city.
For the events, free entry while seats last; for guided tours, advanced booking is required. On the occasion of the Maggio dei Monumenti, many shops will remain open.
